Elizabeth Kucinich
Elizabeth Jane Kucinich (''née'' Harper; born 22 October 1977) is a British organic food and vegan advocate. She has produced two documentaries and is married to the retired eight-term US Congressman and two-time Democratic presidential candidate Dennis Kucinich. Early life Born Elizabeth Jane Harper, daughter of Graham Harper and Julia Massey (divorced), she was brought up in North Ockendon in the London Borough of Havering, England. Kucinich holds a BA in Religious Studies and Theology and an MA in International Conflict Analysis from the University of Kent and also has a certificate in Peace and Reconciliation Studies from Coventry University. Dennis Kucinich
Dennis John Kucinich (; born October 8, 1946) is an American politician. A U.S. Representative from Ohio from 1997 to 2013, he was also a candidate for the Democratic nomination for president of the United States in 2004 and 2008. He ran for governor of Ohio in the 2018 election, losing in the primary to Richard Cordray. From 1977 to 1979, Kucinich served as the 53rd mayor of Cleveland, a tumultuous term in which he survived a recall election and was successful in a battle against selling the municipal electric utility before being defeated for reelection by George Voinovich. Due to redistricting following the 2010 state elections, Ohio's 10th congressional district was redrawn in southern Ohio. ''GMO OMG'' is a 2013 American pseudoscientific documentary film which takes a negative view towards the use of genetically modified organisms used in the production of food, in the United States. The film focuses on Monsanto, a multinational agrochemical and agricultural biotechnology corporation, and their role in the food industry alongside the effects of GMOs and how they are generated. Directed by Jeremy Seifert and produced by Elizabeth Kucinich, it was given a limited release in the United States on September 13, 2013, and received negative reviews from critics.
