2022–23 Swiss Women's Super League
The 2022–23 Swiss Women's Super League (referred to as the Axa Women's Super League for sponsoring reasons) is the 53nd season of top-tier competitive women's football in Switzerland. Format In the regular season, the eight teams of the 2021–22 Playoffs joined by the two winners of relegation/promotion playoff, Yverdon and Rapperswil-Jona. At the end of the first phase, the eight top teams advance to the playoffs. The bottom two teams are joined by the top two teams of the Nationalliga B in the relegation playoff. The regular season starts on 20 August 2022 and ends on 22 April 2023. Playoff schedule and bracket will be drawn following conclusion of the regular season. Cypriot First Division (women)
The Cypriot First Division is the top division of women's football in Cyprus. It has been running since its establishment by the Cyprus Football Association (C.F.A) and its originator Tassos Katsikidis (vice-president of the board) during the 1998–99 season. The winning team of the league qualifies for a spot in the UEFA Women's Champions League. Although a Cypriot team entered the Champions League every year from 2003–04 onwards, in 2008–09 Apollon Limassol became the first team to win a point in those competitions. The 2023–24 UEFA Women's Nations League will be the inaugural season of the UEFA Women's Nations League, an international women's football competition contested by the senior women's national teams of the member associations of UEFA. The results will be used to determine the leagues for the UEFA Women's Euro 2025 qualifying competition. Format The competition will begin with the league stage, featuring the national teams split into three leagues (A, B and C) based on the UEFA coefficient ranking.
