Ek Baar Kaho
''Ek Baar Kaho'' () is a 1980 Indian Hindi-language drama film produced by Tarachand Barjatya and directed by Lekh Tandon. The film stars Shabana Azmi and Navin Nischol in main roles. The climax is inspired from that of the 1957 movie '' An Affair to Remember''. Plot Ravi Varma loses his parents in childhood and his wife Rajni in an accident. He keeps himself immersed in business. His family physician advises him to take a holiday. He meets Aarti and both are attracted to each other. Ravi is hesitant at first to express his love because he believes whoever he loves will die. Later, he asks her to meet him and she agrees. When Aarti does not come to meet him, Ravi believes that she does not reciprocate his feelings. He meets her two years later and in the climax finds out why she did not come to meet him. Its all's well that ends well! Lekh Tandon
Lekh Tandon (13 February 1929 – 15 October 2017) was an Indian filmmaker and actor. He had directed numerous Bollywood movies and Indian TV Serials. He gained national fame due to success of his directorial ventures Professor (1962 film), Prince (1969 film), Ek Baar Kaho, Jhuk Gaya Aasmaan and Agar Tum Na Hote. His films Amrapali (film), Amrapali starring Vyjanthimala and Agar Tum Na Hote with Rajesh Khanna in the lead role are considered as classics. Later after 2000, he had acted in movies such as Swades, Rang De Basanti, Chennai Express and Chaarfutiya Chhokare. He was the brother of Urdu playwright Yograj Tandon. Madan Puri
Madan Puri (30 September 1915 – 13 January 1985) was an Indian actor of Hindi and Punjabi films. His brothers were actors Chaman Puri and Amrish Puri. As a character actor mainly in negative roles (villain), he acted in about 430 films in a career spanning above fifty years. Early life Madan Lal Puri was born in Nawanshahr, Punjab, in a Punjabi Hindu family, to Nihal Chand Puri and Ved Kaur. He studied in Rahon. Jagjit Singh
Jagjit Singh (born Jagmohan Singh Dhiman; 8 February 1941 – 10 October 2011) was an Indian composer, singer and musician. Syed Ishtiaq Ahmed Jaffrey (19 March 1939 – 8 July 2020), better known by his stage name Jagdeep, was an Indian actor and comedian who appeared in more than 400 films.
