Eileanan Dubha
Kate Forsyth (born 3 June 1966) is an Australian author. She is best known for her historical novel ''Bitter Greens'', which interweaves a retelling of the ''Rapunzel'' fairy tale with the true life story of the woman who first told the tale, the 17th century French writer Charlotte-Rose de Caumont de La Force. Forsyth is also the author of several children's books, including ''The Gypsy Crown'', ''The Puzzle Ring'', ''The Starthorn Tree'', ''The Wildkin's Curse'', ''The Starkin Crown'' and ''Dragon Gold''. She has also published two heroic fantasy series, ''The Witches of Eileanan'' and ''Rhiannon's Ride'', the poetry collection ''Radiance'', and the novel ''Full Fathom Five'' under her maiden name, Kate Humphrey. She is a five-time Aurealis Award winner. She is married with three children, and lives in Sydney, New South Wales. Ann Leckie
Ann Leckie (born March 2, 1966) is an American author of science fiction and fantasy. Her 2013 debut novel ''Ancillary Justice'', which features artificial consciousness and gender-blindness, won the 2014 Hugo Award for "Best Novel", as well as the Nebula Award for Best Novel, Nebula Award, the Arthur C. Clarke Award, and the BSFA Award for Best Novel, BSFA Award. The sequels, ''Ancillary Sword'' and ''Ancillary Mercy'', each won the Locus Award and were both nominated for the Nebula Award. ''Provenance (novel), Provenance'', published in 2017, and ''Translation State'', published in 2023, are also set in the ''Imperial Radch'' universe. Leckie's first fantasy novel, ''The Raven Tower'', was published in February 2019.
