Dwight Buycks
Dwight Buycks ( ; born March 6, 1989) is an American professional basketball player for Al-Shamal SC of the Qatari Basketball League. He played college basketball for the Indian Hills Warriors and Marquette Golden Eagles. High school career Buycks attended Bay View High School in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He was a four-year starter on the basketball team and finished his career with 1,312 points. He was the first player in school history to reach 1,000 points. He was named to the All-League Team all four years and the AP and Coaches All-State Team in his senior year. He was voted the top AAU player in the state and led his team to the state championship. College career Junior college Buycks attended Indian Hills Community College for the 2007–08 and 2008–09 seasons. In his two years, he had 1,254 points, the third most in school history. The point guard (PG), also called the one or the point, is one of the five positions in a regulation basketball game. A point guard has perhaps the most specialized role of any position. The Detroit Pistons are an American professional basketball team based in Detroit. NBA G League
The NBA G League, or simply the G League, is the National Basketball Association's (NBA) official minor league basketball organization. The league was known as the National Basketball Development League (NBDL) from 2001 to 2005, and the NBA Development League (NBA D-League) from 2005 until 2017. The league started with eight teams until NBA commissioner David Stern announced a plan to expand the NBA D-League to 15 teams and develop it into a true minor league farm system, with each NBA D-League team affiliated with one or more NBA teams in March 2005. The LNB Pro A Leaders Cup, or French Basketball League Cup, is the annual national league cup competition for teams from the top-tier level of French professional basketball, the LNB Pro A. It was created in its current form in 2003 (after originally being founded in 1988). It is organized by the Ligue Nationale de Basketball (LNB), which also organizes the top two leagues of French professional basketball (Pro A, and Pro B). Inspired by the Spanish Copa del Rey (Spanish Basketball King's Cup), the ''Final Eight'' format has always been used. Al-Shamal Sports Club ( ar, نادي الشمال الرياضي) is a Qatari multi-sports club based in Madinat ash Shamal. Al-Shamal was founded in 1980. Indios de Mayagüez is a Puerto Rico professional basketball team. The team plays in the Baloncesto Superior Nacional (BSN). The Indios play their home games in the Palacio de Recreación y Deportes since 1981. The franchise first entered the league in 1956, and Mayagüez has been its home city for all but five of the team's active seasons given that the franchise has gone through several hiatuses in its history.
