Dragør Municipality
Dragør Kommune () is a municipality ( Danish, '' kommune'') in Region Hovedstaden on the southern coast of the island of Amager just east of Zealand (''Sjælland'') in eastern Denmark. The municipality covers an area of 18.41 km² (2013), and has a population of 14,494 (1 January 2020). Municipalities Of Denmark
Denmark is divided into five regions, which contain 98 municipalities ( da, kommuner , sing.: ). The Capital Region has 29 municipalities, Southern Denmark 22, Central Denmark 19, Zealand 17 and North Denmark 11. Zealand (Denmark)
Zealand ( da, Sjælland ) at 7,031 km2 is the largest and most populous island in Denmark proper (thus excluding Greenland and Disko Island, which are larger in size). Zealand had a population of 2,319,705 on 1 January 2020. It is the 13th-largest island in Europe by area and the 4th most populous. It is connected to Sprogø and Funen by the Great Belt Fixed Link and to Amager by several bridges in Copenhagen. Indirectly, through the island of Amager and the Øresund Bridge, it is also linked to Scania in Sweden. In the south, the Storstrøm Bridge and the Farø Bridges connect it to Falster, and beyond that island to Lolland, from where the Fehmarnbelt Tunnel to Germany is planned. Tårnby
Tårnby () is a town in Denmark, the seat of Tårnby Municipality in the Capital Region of Denmark. It is located approximately south of central Copenhagen on the island of Amager. Neighbouring settlements include the Copenhagen suburb of Sundbyvester to the north and Kastrup to the south. Copenhagen Airport is situated to the east of Tårnby. It includes the islets Saltholm and Peberholm. History There's no clear date for the founding of Tårnby, but archaeological expeditions prior to the building of the Øresund Bridge suggest that the first traces of Tårnby originated around the 12th century around a farm from which the village grew. In the 16th century, Danish King Christian II invited Dutch settlers to Amager. That made Tårnby, like the neighbouring city of Dragør, also have some traces of Dutch history and culture. Øresund

Høje-Taastrup Municipality
Høje-Taastrup Kommune is a municipality ( Danish, '' kommune'') in Region Hovedstaden on the island of Zealand (''Sjælland'') in eastern Denmark. The municipality covers an area of 78 km² (30 mi²), and has a total population of 50,676 (1 October 2018). It was formed by the 1970 Danish Municipal Reform, and its 1974 adjustment, by merging the parish municipalities of Høje Taastrup, Sengeløse, the Fløng part of Hvedstrup-Fløng and the Reerslev part of Reerslev-Vindinge. Since 1 January 2006 the mayor of the municipality has been Michael Ziegler, a member of the Conservative People's Party (''Det Konservative Folkeparti'') political party. Parish
A parish is a territorial entity in many Christian denominations, constituting a division within a diocese. A parish is under the pastoral care and clerical jurisdiction of a priest, often termed a parish priest, who might be assisted by one or more curates, and who operates from a parish church. Historically, a parish often covered the same geographical area as a manor. Its association with the parish church remains paramount. By extension the term ''parish'' refers not only to the territorial entity but to the people of its community or congregation as well as to church property within it. Store Magleby
Store Magleby is a Danish town, seat with Dragør of the Dragør Municipality, in the Region Hovedstaden. Its population in 2009 was 2,000. History Traces of an early Iron Age settlement from about the year 200 AD have been found just south east of Store Magleby Church. In 1521 Christian II invited Dutch-speaking families (from especially Nieuwpoort and Mechelen in present-day Belgium) to settle in the parish and grow vegetables. On arrival they received existing farms. It is used to be thought that they came from Waterland, but nowadays it is believed the origins of at least some of the settlers lay elsewhere in the present-day Netherlands or even Flanders. Dutch continued in use in the village until the early 19th century, and it is still colloquially named Hollænderbyen ('Dutch town').
