Setanta Hurling Club is a Gaelic Athletic Association club located near Killygordon, County Donegal, Republic of Ireland, Ireland. The club is solely concerned with the game of hurling. It currently competes in the Donegal Senior Hurling Championship, Donegal SHC. History Setanta won its first Donegal Senior Hurling Championship, Donegal SHC title in 1973. CLG na Cealla Beaga is a Gaelic Athletic Association, GAA club based in Killybegs, County Donegal, Republic of Ireland, Ireland. They have won the Donegal Senior Football Championship on six occasions, most recently in 1996. They have an intense rivalry with CLG Chill Chartha, Cill Chartha. History Founded in 1924, the club have had teams break up several times in their history. They play Gaelic football, football only, though — in the past — played hurling too. The 2015 Donegal Senior Hurling Championship was the 85th staging of the Donegal Senior Hurling Championship since its establishment by the Donegal County Board in 1924. The championship began on 11 July 2015 and ended on 12 September 2015. Four Masters is a GAA club located in the town of Donegal in County Donegal, Ireland. They are one of the strongholds of Gaelic football in Donegal. History Based in the parishes of Townawilly and Killymard, Donegal Town, Four Masters is one of the oldest and most successful clubs in Donegal having won 3 Donegal Senior Football Championships. The GAA club under Warwickshire County Board in Coventry, England, is named after the Four Masters club in Donegal. That club was unable to register as a Donegal Club but reserved the Four Masters name. Austin O'Kennedy, a top GAA doctor who oversaw all Donegal county teams for 22 years, has also been involved with Four Masters for even longer. Tom Conaghan who managed the Four Masters to two county championships in 1982 and 1984 went on to manage the county team during the late 80s.
