Donald Brown (running Back)
Donald Eugene Brown II (born April 11, 1987) is a former American football running back who played in the National Football League for seven seasons, primarily with the Indianapolis Colts. He played college football at Connecticut, where he became the school's all-time leading rusher, and was selected by the Colts in the first round of the 2009 NFL Draft. Brown was a member of the Colts for five seasons and spent his last two seasons with the San Diego Chargers. High school career Brown attended Red Bank Catholic High School in Red Bank, New Jersey, where he played football and ran track. During his senior season, Brown rushed for 2,032 yards and 27 touchdowns. In track, Brown was timed at 11.3 seconds in the 100 meters and 23.2 seconds in the 200 meters. Running Back
A running back (RB) is a member of the offensive backfield in gridiron football. The primary roles of a running back are to receive handoffs from the quarterback to rush the ball, to line up as a receiver to catch the ball, and block. There are usually one or two running backs on the field for a given play, depending on the offensive formation. A running back may be a halfback (in certain contexts also referred to as a "tailback" ⁠ ⁠—  see below), a wingback or a fullback. A running back will sometimes be called a "feature back" if he is the team's starting running back.
