Diana (singer)
Diana (born June 2, 1954) is a Brazilian singer, who gained fame in the 1970s. She was born Ana Maria Siqueira Iorio, in Botafogo ward, in Rio de Janeiro city, at 2 June, and raised in the Leblon ward. Her fans have given her the nickname "The Love Singer of Brazil". Her song styles are Jovem Guarda and Brazilian Pop. Career She began her career in the late 1960s, following in the footsteps of " Jovem Guarda". At 1969, she recorded her first single, "Menti Pra Você" (I Lied For You) (Side A) and "Sítio do Pica-Pau Amarelo" (Yellow Woodpecker's Farm) (Side B). In 1970, she recorded another single on the EPIC label, with two songs, called "Não Chore Baby" (Don't Cry Baby) and "Eu Gosto Dele" (I Like Him), produced by Raul Seixas. Odair José's also recorded a song written by her: "Mundo Feito de Saudade" (World Made By Missings). Wanderléa Charlup Boere Salim (born June 5, 1946 in Governador Valadares, Minas Gerais) is a Brazilian singer and former co-host of the historic television show '' Jovem Guarda'' alongside Roberto Carlos and Erasmo Carlos. The show aired on TV Record between 1965 and 1968. Wanderléa was nicknamed ''Ternurinha'' (roughly "little darling") after her first hit "Ternura" ("Somehow it got to be tomorrow"). Biography Wanderléa was born on June 5, 1946, in Governador Valadares, Minas Gerais, Brazil. After her birth, the family moved to the city of Lavras, also in Minas Gerais. Raul Santos Seixas (; 28 June 1945 – 21 August 1989) allmusic Biography/ref> was a Brazilian rock composer, singer, songwriter and producer. He is sometimes called the "Father of Brazilian Rock" and "Maluco Beleza", the last one roughly translated as "Groovy Nutcase". He was born in Salvador (Bahia), Brazil, and died of pancreatitis in São Paulo.
