Mohan Choti
Mohan Choti (1935 – 1 February 1992) was an Indian actor who worked as a comedian in Hindi films. The name Mohan Choti came from a fictional character of the same name from the 1957 film '' Musafir'', in which he plays a tea shop delivery boy who sports a "choti" or traditional lock of hair on the top of his head. Biography Mohan Choti was born as Mohan Rakshakar to Constable Atmaram Rakshakar in 1933 at Amravati, Amravati District Maharashtra. He produced and directed two films — "Dhoti Lota Aur Chowpatty" and "Hunterwali 77". He also opened a restaurant which was called "Sawal roti ka; Dhaba choti ka". He also started Atta distribution unit called "Choti Walla Atta". He died on 1 February 1992 at the age of 57. Jankidas
Jankidas Mehra (1910 – 18 June 2003) was an Indian actor of Hindi cinema, cyclist, production designer, and writer. He made over 1000 film appearances between the 1930s and 1997. Biography Sports Jankidas served as the only Indian member of the International Olympic Committee at the 1936 Olympic Games in Berlin along with Hockey legend Major Dhyanchand and was the only Indian to have broken the world record in cycling between 1934 and 1942. In the 1940s, along with Sohrab Bhoot, he founded the Cycling Federation of India. Films Jankidas debuted in films playing a major role in '' Khazanchi'' (1941), produced in Lahore. Laxmi Chhaya
Laxmi Chhaya (7 January 1948 – 9 May 2004) was an Indian actress, dancer and teacher, who was known for her distinctive character roles and appearances in Hindi films. Following a series of roles as a child actor, Chhaya earned recognition for her appearance as a masked dancer in Mohammed Rafi's "Jaan Pehechan Ho", which appeared in the horror film '' Gumnaam'' (1965). Her highest-critical successes came with ''Teesri Manzil'' (1966), ''Duniya'' (1968), '' Aya Sawan Jhoom Ke'' (1969), ''Mera Gaon Mera Desh'' (1971), and '' Raaste Kaa Patthar'' (1972). Nilu Phule (Marathi pronunciation: iɭuː pʰuleː 4 April 1930 - 13 July 2009) was an Indian actor known for his roles in Marathi movies and Marathi theatre. Nilu Phule acted in around 250 Marathi and Hindi movies during his film career. He was most prominently seen playing the roles of notorious villains in the movies. Phule was also a social worker, and was associated with Rashtra Seva Dal. Early life Phule was born in 1930 in Pune as Nilkanth Krushnaji Phule in a Mali caste. Joginder (real name Joginder Shelly) was an Indian actor, director, producer, writer, singer, songwriter and distributor. Two Hindi films produced, directed, written, acted and distributed by him were "Super Hits" – ''Bindiya Aur Bandook'' and '' Ranga Khush''. (In Indian cinema any film which runs for over 50 weeks continuously is classified as a "Super Hit.") He successfully instituted a plagiarism suit against the producers of one of India's greatest films, ''Sholay'', for substantially copying his work.
