David A. Morris is an American major general (retired) who is the founder and owner of Decisive Edge, LLC, a consulting firm focused on the development of business strategies for the Special Operations and intelligence communities. Military career and background Morris graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point, New York in 1975 and served on active duty as an Infantry and Special Forces officer until 1984. His active duty assignments were highlighted by a tour as a Special Forces detachment commander and advisor during the Salvadoran Civil War in 1980 and 1981 while a member of the 7th Special Forces Group. He also served as a Special Forces instructor at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, in addition to operational assignments with Special Forces units. David Morris (born 27 November 1988 in Kilkenny) is an Irish snooker player. In the 2015-2016 he was ranked as Ireland's number 3 player, after Fergal O'Brien and Ken Doherty. Career Early career Aged 16, he reached the quarter finals of the U21 World Snooker Championships. He has been Irish champion at every level, winning the overall National championship every year from 2004 to 2006 (becoming the youngest ever winner in 2004). For 2006–07 he made his debut on the main tour, reaching the last 64 in two tournaments. His best run in the 2007–2008 season was to the last 48 of the UK Championships, where he lost to Dave Harold (who also defeated him in qualifying for the previous year's Welsh Open). His only opening-round defeat that year was to Supoj Saenla in the World Championship, but despite this setback in the highest ranking-point event of the season he did enough to reach the top 64 of the rankings. David Morris is a British luxury jeweller famed for designing, crafting and selling fine jewellery and watches. It was founded in 1962, by David Morris and remains family owned. Throughout its 50-year history David Morris has produced a number of notable works, including the Miss World crown, jewellery for the James Bond film franchise and various pieces commissioned by royal families. David John Morris (born 31 August 1984) is an Australian Olympic Freestyle skiing, aerial/freestyle skier who competed in 3 Winter Olympic Games in 2010 Winter Olympics, 2010, 2014 Winter Olympics, 2014 and 2018 Winter Olympics, 2018. He is Australia's most successful male aerial skier, having competed across International Ski Federation, FIS World Cup, World Championships and Winter Olympic competitions. David Morris is a Canadian retired soccer defender who played professionally in the USL First Division. He was the 1999 USL Premier Development League Rookie of the Year. Morris attended, and played soccer, at Capilano College. In 1996, Capilano won the Canadian college championship. Morris was the tournament MVP. In 1999, Morris signed with the Abbotsford 86ers of the USL Premier Development League. His outstanding play, fourteen goals in fifteen games, led to his selection as the USL PDL Rookie of the Year. It also led to his being called up to the Vancouver 86ers five times that season. In 2000, Morris made a permanent move to Vancouver where he played until 2007.
