Darren Dale
Darren Dale is an Indigenous Australian film and television producer. Since joining Blackfella Films as a producer in 2001, he is co-director of the company, along with founder Rachel Perkins. Dale is known for co-producing many films and television series with Miranda Dear since 2010, with their most recent collaboration being the second season of '' Total Control''. Career Dale joined Blackfella Films in 2000, and became co-director with company founder Rachel Perkins. The first stand-out success of this collaboration came with the production of '' First Australians'', a 7-part documentary broadcast on SBS Television in 2008 and was the winner of multiple awards. Maralinga Tjarutja
The Maralinga Tjarutja, or Maralinga Tjarutja Council, is the corporation representing the traditional Anangu owners of the remote western areas of South Australia known as the Maralinga Tjarutja lands. The council was established by the ''Maralinga Tjarutja Land Rights Act 1984''. The area is one of the four regions of South Australia classified as an Aboriginal Council (AC) and not incorporated within a local government area. The Aboriginal Australian people whose historic rights over the area have been officially recognised belong to the southern branch of the Pitjantjatjara people. The land includes a large area of land contaminated by British nuclear testing in the 1950s, for which the inhabitants were eventually compensated in 1991. Erica Glynn
Erica Glynn (born 1964) is an Indigenous Australian filmmaker, known for directing, producing and writing documentaries and other films. Early life, education and family Glynn was born in 1964. She is the daughter of photographer Freda Glynn, sister of director Warwick Thornton, and niece of educator Rona Glynn. She is a drama directing graduate of the Australian Film, Television and Radio School in Sydney.
