Danny Saucedo
Daniel Gabriel Alessandro Saucedo Grzechowski (born 25 February 1986), known professionally as Danny Saucedo or simply Danny, is a Swedish singer and songwriter. He rose to fame as one of the finalists in ''Idol 2006'', the Swedish version of '' Idol'', where he reached the top six. Saucedo has released five studio albums and more than fifteen singles as a solo artist. His debut album '' Heart Beats'' and its three singles "Tokyo", " Play It for the Girls" and "Radio" topped the Swedish charts. He was simultaneously a member of Swedish pop trio E.M.D. with Erik Segerstedt and Mattias Andréasson, which was active between 2007 and 2010. The trio released three albums and eleven singles (of which one album and four singles topped the Swedish charts). The band won a Grammis for Song of The Year 2008 with " Jennie Let Me Love You". Erik Segerstedt
Mats Erik Segerstedt (born 20 April 1983) is a Swedish singer. Segerstedt was born in Uddevalla. As a student he attended the Adolf Fredrik's Music School in Stockholm. He was the runner-up to Markus Fagervall on the third season of Swedish version of ''Idol 2006''. Erik was part of the Swedish band E.M.D., alongside two other ''Idol'' contestants, Danny Saucedo from ''Idol 2006'' and Mattias Andréasson from ''Idol 2007''. The band took a break in late 2010. Erik was a contestant in Let's Dance 2013. He also voiced Prince Hans in the Swedish dub of Disney's '' Frozen''. Melodifestivalen 2021 was the 61st edition of the Swedish music competition Melodifestivalen. The competition was organised by Sveriges Television (SVT) and took place over a six-week period between 6 February and 13 March 2021. Due to the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, all shows of this edition took place in the Annexet in Stockholm, and without an audience. The winner of the competition was Tusse with the song " Voices", who represented Sweden in the Eurovision Song Contest 2021 in Rotterdam, Netherlands, where he came fourteenth with 109 points. The format of the competition consisted of 6 shows: 4 heat rounds, a second chance round and a final. Melodifestivalen 2012 is a Swedish song contest that was held between 4 February and 10 March 2012. It selected the fifty-second Swedish entry to be internationally represented in the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 (ESC 2012). As in the editions between 2009–2011, a maximum of eight people were allowed on stage, while only persons of 16 years or over are eligible. However, in accordance with Eurovision rules, only six people were allowed on stage for the Swedish entry at Eurovision. The main singer(s) were required to perform vocals live on stage. However, other backing vocals can be prerecorded, along with the song's backing track. On 20 June 2011, SVT announced an open call for Melodifestivalen 2012, with some changes in the rules. "In the Club" is an English language song by Swedish singer Danny Saucedo. The song is written by Figge Boström, Peter Boström and Saucedo himself. Saucedo participated in Melodifestivalen 2011, singing the song, in a bid to represent Sweden in the Eurovision Song Contest 2011 in Düsseldorf, Germany. After finishing first in the first of four semi-finals that was held on 5 February 2011 in Coop Norrbotten Arena, Luleå, he qualified for the Melodifestivalen finals as one of ten songs chosen. Melodifestivalen 2011 was a Swedish song contest held between February and March 2011. It selected Sweden's 51st song to represent Sweden in the Eurovision Song Contest, and was the 50th edition of Melodifestivalen. Eric Saade, with the song " Popular", won the contest and thus was selected to represent Sweden in the 2011 Eurovision Song Contest. Format The 2011 edition of Melodifestivalen was similar to the previous year's arrangement, with four heats, a second-chance round and a grand final. The four heats were held in Luleå (5 February), Gothenburg (12 February), Linköping (19 February) and Malmö (26 February). The second chance round was held in Sundsvall on 5 March and the final in Stockholm was held on 12 March. SVT presented the competing songs during autumn 2010. Melodifestivalen 2009 was a Sweden, Swedish song contest held between February and March 2009. It was the selection for the 49th song to represent Sweden in the Eurovision Song Contest, and was the 48th edition of Melodifestivalen. Five heats were held in the Swedish cities of Gothenburg, Skellefteå, Leksand and Malmö, with Norrköping hosting the final ''Andra Chansen'' round.
