It’s also known as Santander Cup for sponsorship reasons. The competition has been played annually since 1964. Tournament structure The initial 6 rounds are managed by the three regional federations with the DHF taking over the tournament at the round of 16. It ultimately results in a final four event scheduled between Christmas and New Year. The winner of the tournament qualify for the annual Super Cup held during the summer where they meet the season's league winner. Joachim Boldsen
Joachim Boldsen (born 30 April 1978) is a Danish former team handball player. He is European Champion by winning the 2008 European Men's Handball Championship with the Danish national handball team. Boldsen recently played for KIF Kolding København, and has previously played for Danish Handball League side AaB Håndbold and Spanish league side FC Barcelona. Career Club career In Boldsen's earliest career, he played for such clubs as Helsingør IF (from 1993), GOG Gudme (two seasons, 1997–1999), TV Großwallstadt (two seasons, 1999–2001), and Ajax Farum. From 2001 to 2007, he played with the German first league team SG Flensburg-Handewitt, helping them to win their first championship in 2004. Bilal Šuman
Bilal Šuman (born 9 June 1968) is a Bosnian former handball player and current coach. He coached Danish Men's Handball League club KIF Kolding and the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team. Career As a player, he played in the right wing position for Igman Ilidža and Eurofarm Pelister 2 in the former Yugoslavia and for KIF Kolding in Denmark and has also represented the Bosnia and Herzegovina men's national handball team, making 32 appearances and scoring 124 goals. As a coach, Šuman worked at Kolding where he won the 2013–14 Håndboldligaen and qualified Bosnia and Herzegovina for the 2020 EHF European Men's Handball Championship. TTH Holstebro is a men's handball club from Holstebro, Denmark. The team is playing in the Danish Primo Tours Ligaen and play their home matches in Gråkjær Arena. History The club was founded in May 2000, when Holstebro Håndbold 90 and Tvis KFUM merged their first teams to create the new club.
