Daniel Karaba
Dickson Daniel Karaba (born 1948) is a Kenyan politician. He represented Kirinyaga County in the Kenyan Senate from 2013 to 2017. He is a member of The National Alliance (TNA), a constituent party of the Jubilee Alliance coalition. Early life Daniel Karaba was born in the village of Kiamaina in Kirinyaga County. He attended Kiamaina primary school and proceeded to Kamuiru High School for his O Levels. He then joined Kagumo high school for his A levels. Karaba enrolled in the University of Nairobi for his bachelor's degree in Education. He became a professional teacher and was promoted to a deputy principal and later a principal of various schools in Kenya including, Kagumo High School, Highway Secondary School, Kianyaga High School, Kirimara High School, Njegas Secondary School. Karaba was also the Chair of Secondary Schools Heads Association between 1984 and 1998. Kirinyaga County
Kirinyaga County is a county in the former Central Province of Kenya. Its capital is Kerugoya and its largest town is Wanguru. In 2019, the county had a population of 610,411 and an area of 1,478.1 km2. The county is bordered to the east and south by Embu County, to the south by a tiny part of Machakos County, to the southwest by Murang'a County and to the northwest by Nyeri County. Kirinyaga county lies between 1158 and 5199 meters above sea level; its highest point is the summit of Mount Kenya. The National Alliance
The National Alliance (TNA) was a political party in Kenya. It took on its current identity when Uhuru Kenyatta assumed control and renamed it as the vehicle for his 2012 presidential campaign. History The National Alliance was founded as the National Alliance Party of Kenya on 3 July 2000. The leaders of the communities represented at the inaugural meeting subsequently approached Lawrence Nginyo Kariuki, a prominent businessman and politician to be the founding chairman of the Alliance and Kariuki consented. 2002 elections Prior to the 2002 general elections, the party joined the National Rainbow Coalition (NARC) alliance. The Jubilee Alliance was a political alliance in Kenya. History The alliance was established to support the joint presidential election ticket of Uhuru Kenyatta and William Ruto in the 2013 general elections. At the time of the election, its members were The National Alliance, the National Rainbow Coalition, the United Republican Party, and the Republican Congress. Kiamaina
Kiamaina is a settlement in Kenya's Central Province. Climate The climate of Central Province is generally cooler than that of the rest of Kenya, due to the region's higher altitude. Rainfall is fairly reliable, falling in two seasons, one from early March to May (the long rains) and a second during October and November (the short rains). History The province is inhabited by the Kikuyu who are part of the Kenya Eastern Bantu. During Kenya's colonization by the British, much of the province was regarded as part of the 'White Highlands', for the exclusive use of the settler community. Therefore it saw political activity from the local communities who felt that they had an ancestral right to the land. The University of Nairobi (uonbi or UoN; ) is a collegiate research university based in Nairobi. It is the largest university in Kenya. Although its history as an educational institution dates back to 1956, it did not become an independent university until 1970. John Ngata Kariuki is a Kenyan politician and businessman. He has two children: James Kariuki (husband to Alison Ngethe Kariuki and Dr. Elizabeth Nyawira.
