Daithí Doolan
Daithi Doolan (born 13 May 1968, Cork) is an Irish politician. A member of Sinn Féin, he is a councillor on Dublin City Council. Election results Local elections As Sinn Féin candidate in the 1999 local elections for the Dublin South East Inner City, Doolan polled 13.38%, coming fourth and missing out on a seat by 62 votes. In 2004 Doolan recontested in the area polling 24.11%, securing the second position. In the 2009 election he polled 11.9% and lost his seat by 259 votes. At the 2014 elections, Doolan contested in the Dublin Ballyfermot Drimnagh area, and topped the poll with 19.28%. General elections Doolan contested the 2002 general election, attaining 2,398 first preference votes (7.39%) in Dublin South-East, coming seventh thereby missing out on one of the top four positions. Peadar Tóibín
Peadar Tóibín (; born 19 June 1974) is an Irish politician who has served as Leader of Aontú since January 2019. He has been a Teachta Dála (TD) for the Meath West constituency since 2011. He previously served as Chair of the Committee on Arts, Heritage, Regional, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs from 2016 to 2018. He founded Aontú in January 2019. He was elected as a Sinn Féin candidate in 2011, but resigned from the party on 15 November 2018. The Taoiseach is the head of government, or prime minister, of Ireland. The office is appointed by the president of Ireland upon the nomination of Dáil Éireann (the lower house of the Oireachtas, Ireland's national legislature) and the office-holder must retain the support of a majority in the Dáil to remain in office. Murder Of Joseph Rafferty
Joseph Rafferty (c. 1974 – 12 April 2005) was an Irish murder victim. Following the assault of Rafferty's sister Carmel at a party, Rafferty confronted the alleged attacker, who reportedly told him that his family had connections to the "IRA" and could get him killed. Rafferty continued to receive threats that the IRA would get him for several months before his killing. The Rafferty family met with Daithí Doolan, the local Sinn Féin representative, asking him to have the threat stopped. On 12 April 2005, Rafferty was shot twice with a sawn-off shotgun, once in the leg and once in the chest, as he left his flat in Ongar, Dublin to go to work. Brian Stanley (born January 1958) is an Irish Sinn Féin politician who has been a Teachta Dála (TD) for the Laois–Offaly constituency since the 2020 general election, and previously from 2011 to 2016 and from 2016 to 2020 for the Laois constituency. He was appointed Chair of the Public Accounts Committee in July 2020. He unsuccessfully contested the 2002 and 2007 general elections in Laois-Offaly.
