Dusk (EP)
''Dusk'' (stylized as ''dusk'') is the third extended play by American musician Mxmtoon. The EP was self-released by the artist (and distributed by AWAL) on October 1, 2020 and is the sequel to her earlier EP '' Dawn''. It was promoted by the singles "Bon Iver" and "OK On Your Own", the latter featuring Canadian pop singer Carly Rae Jepsen. The EPs were originally going to be promoted through the ''Dusk & Dawn'' tour across North America in Summer 2020, though due to the COVID-19 pandemic that did not occur. Maia (born July 9, 2000), known professionally as mxmtoon, is an American singer-songwriter and YouTuber. Her music is characterized by emotionally transparent, confessional lyrics, and often employs the ukulele. Amy Victoria Wadge (born ) is an English singer and songwriter. She has co-written tracks with Ed Sheeran, including " Thinking Out Loud" for which she won the 2016 Grammy Award for Song of the Year. ''The Masquerade'' (stylized in all lowercase) is the debut studio album by indie pop singer-songwriter Mxmtoon, self-released on September 17, 2019. The album was primarily produced by Cavetown and co-produced by Mxmtoon. "Prom Dress", "High & Dry", "Seasonal Depression", "Blame Game" and "Dream of You" were released as singles. Background Prior to the album's release, Spotify announced the release of ''21 Days'', a music podcast which followed Mxmtoon and Cavetown as they worked on the album in New York City.
