Duncan Arsenault
Duncan Charles Arsenault (born August 28, 1974, in Worcester, Massachusetts, U.S.) is a multi-instrumentalist and the drummer for the American Rock music, rock bands the Curtis Mayflower, the Curtain Society, Sam James (musician), Sam James, Big Eyed Rabbit, and Scott Ricciuti & Pistol Whipped. His solo electronic music project has been featured on the CBS television programs ''NCIS (TV series), NCIS'' and ''The Young and the Restless''. The Marshall Pass's music will appear in the independent film ''American Mongrel''. Collaborations Arsenault drums with Shana Morrison, daughter of Van Morrison, and has also played drums with author, poet, and musician Jim Carroll. Arsenault and the Curtain Society have also performed backing up Mark Burgess (musician), Mark Burgess from the Chameleons. The Curtain Society
The Curtain Society is an American band which formed in Southbridge, Massachusetts in 1988, and consists of singer/guitarist Roger Lavallee, Ron Mominee and Duncan Arsenault. Their stylistic influences include pop, shoegazing, Dream pop and alternative rock & roll. Their first releases were a series of EPs and cassettes through Apostrophe Records, a label directed by Lavallee. In 1993 the band signed with Washington, DC based label Bedazzled Records. Their first release with Bedazzled was the limited-edition 7" record "Chelsea", backed with "All Over You". ''Inertia'', the band's first full-length record, appeared in 1995. The band then appeared on various compilations, including the series of art/music compilations from Boston's Castle von Buhler, before releasing their second album, ''Life Is Long, Still'', in 1996. New songs were featured on the 4 song EP titled ''Volume, Tone, Tempo'' in 1999, which was also Bedazzled's final release before ceasing operations in 2000. ... The Curtis Mayflower
The Curtis Mayflower is an American rock band formed in Worcester, Massachusetts in 2013. The group consists of lead singer Craig Rawding, guitarist Pete Aleksi, bassist Jeremy Moses Curtis, keyboard player Brooks Milgate, and drummer Duncan Arsenault. The group's debut album "Everything Beautiful Is Under Attack" was released on January 28, 2014. In March 2017 the band released their sophomore album "Death Hoax" to positive reviews. History Before starting The Curtis Mayflower, Brooks Milgate, Duncan Arsenault and Jeremy Moses Curtis played together in The Howl with The Fabulous Thunderbirds guitarist Troy Gonyea. A drummer is a percussionist who creates music using drums. A multi-instrumentalist is a musician who plays two or more musical instruments at a professional level of proficiency. Shana Caledonia Morrison (born April 7, 1970) is an Irish-American singer-songwriter and the daughter of Northern Irish singer-songwriter, Van Morrison, and his ex-wife, Janet Rigsbee Minto. Early life Morrison grew up in Marin County, California, and was raised spending time in the separate homes of her parents, who had divorced when she was three years old.
