Duke Ejiofor
Duke Ejiofor (born April 24, 1995) is an American football linebacker who is a free agent. He played college football at Wake Forest, and was selected by the Houston Texans in the sixth round of the 2018 NFL Draft. College career As a junior at Wake Forest, Ejiofor had 50 tackles, 17 for losses, 10.5 sacks, one interception and two forced fumbles. He recorded 47 tackles including 15 for losses, eight sacks and six pass breakups as a senior. Professional career Houston Texans Ejiofor was selected by the Houston Texans in the sixth round, 177th overall, of the 2018 NFL Draft. In Week 2, against the Tennessee Titans, he recorded his first career sack in his NFL debut. On May 10, 2019, Ejiofor was placed on injured reserve after suffering a season-ending torn Achilles. Linebacker
Linebacker (LB) is a playing position in gridiron football. Linebackers are members of the defensive team, and line up three to five yards behind the line of scrimmage and the defensive linemen. They are the "middle ground" of defenders, playing closer to the line of scrimmage than the defensive backs (secondary), but farther back than the defensive linemen. As such, linebackers play a hybrid role and are often the most versatile players on the defensive side of the ball; they can be asked to play roles similar to either a defensive lineman (such as stopping the runner on a running play) or a defensive back (such as dropping back into pass coverage). The XFL is a professional American football minor league consisting of eight teams located across the United States in mid-sized to major markets served by at least one other major professional sports team. Seasons run from February to April, with each team playing a ten-game regular season, and four progressing to the playoffs to crown a season champion. It is headquartered in Arlington, Texas. The league was founded by former WWE executive Vince McMahon in 2018, as a reboot and successor to the league of the same name he founded in 2001. The 2018 Tennessee Titans season was the franchise's 49th season in the National Football League and their 59th overall. It also marked the franchise's 22nd season in the state of Tennessee, their first under head coach Mike Vrabel, and the first with new uniforms and blue helmets, as they have worn white helmets since the club was based in Houston, Texas.
