Doctor is an Academic degree, academic title that originates from the Latin word of the same spelling and meaning. The word is originally an Agent noun, agentive noun of the Latin verb 'to teach'. It has been used as an academic title in Europe since the 13th century, when the first doctorates were awarded at the University of Bologna and the University of Paris. Having become established in European universities, this usage spread around the world. Contracted "Dr" or "Dr.", it is used as a designation for a person who has obtained a doctorate (commonly a Doctor of Philosophy, PhD). In past usage, the term could be applied to any learned person. The Secret Saturdays
''The Secret Saturdays'' is an American animated television series created by Canadian cartoonist Jay Stephens and produced by PorchLight Entertainment for Cartoon Network. It debuted on October 3, 2008, in the United States. The series follows the adventures of the Saturdays, a family of cryptozoologists that work to keep the truth about cryptids from getting out, to protect both the human race and the creatures themselves. The Saturdays travel the Earth searching for cryptids to study and battling twisted villains like the megalomaniac V. V. Argost. Livezile, Timiș
Livezile (literally "orchards"; until 1968 Tolvădia; ; ; ) is a communes of Romania, commune in Timiș County, Romania. It is composed of two villages, Dolaț and Livezile (commune seat). From 1972 to 2006, its villages were part of Banloc commune. Geography Livezile is located in the southwestern part of Timiș County, along the border with Serbia, in the Timiș Plain. The Timiș Plain is a recent plain, mostly a floodplain, drained by Bega (Tisza), Bega and Timiș River, Timiș rivers with their tributaries and arms. Hickory, Dickory, and Doc are fictional cartoon characters created by Alex Lovy for Walter Lantz Productions. Lovy would feature the trio in three cartoons until his departure in 1960. Jack Hannah would soon feature Doc in his six more cartoons soon afterwards. History Alex Lovy first introduced Hickory, Dickory, and Doc in the 1959 cartoon ''Space Mouse'', in which Doc attempts to sell the mice to NASA as test animals. Lovy's shorts mainly follow the contemporary cat-and-mouse chase formula of the time, with Doc usually failing to catch the more cunning Hickory and Dickory. These cartoons also featured the bulldog character Cecil, who often beats up Doc whenever he falls victim to his failed chases.
