Djebel Aissa
Mount Issa or Djebel Aïssa () is a 2,236 m high mountain in western Algeria, thus the 4th highest in Algeria. It is part of the Ksour Range of the Saharan Atlas, within the larger Atlas Mountain System. Mount Issa is located in the Naâma Province and is one of the main summits of the mountains of the Saharan Atlas. Ksour Range
The Ksour Range or Kçour Range (, or ''Djebel Ksour'') is a mountain range in Algeria. Stretching across the provinces of Béchar and El Bayadh, it is the westernmost range of the Saharan Atlas, with the Amour Range further east. Geography The range extends between Figuig Province in the Oriental Region of Morocco near the Moroccan/Algerian border and El Bayadh municipality in Algeria. The range pattern continues westwards as the High Atlas. The highest summit of the range is 2,236 m high Mount Issa or ''Djebel Aïssa'' (جبل عيسى). Saharan Atlas
The Saharan Atlas () is a range of the Atlas Mountain System. It is located mainly in Algeria, with its eastern end in Tunisia. Although not as tall as the High Atlas of Morocco its summits are more imposing than the Tell Atlas range that runs parallel closer to the coast. The tallest peak in the range is the high Djebel Aissa in the Ksour Range. Geography The Saharan Atlas includes a series of subranges: the Ksour Range in the west, the Amour Range in its central and the Ouled-Naïl Range at its eastern end. It also includes the Aurès ( Belezma), the Hodna Mountains, the Nememcha Range and the Zab Mountains. Djebel Aissa National Park
Djebel Aissa National Park (in Arabic: الحظيرة الوطنية لجبل عيسى) is a national park of the Saharan Atlas located to the west of Algeria, in the wilaya of Naâma. It was created in 2003 and covers 24400 hectares. Djebel Aissa National Park is of particular importance in preserving the ecosystem of the Western Highlands region, which is threatened by desertification and silting.
