Sinking Ships were an American hardcore punk band from Seattle, Washington, formed in 2004. In 2005, the band released their debut EP, ''Meridian'', on Run for Cover Records and later reissued on 6131 Records and contributed the track "Turn My Headphones Up" to the ''Generations'' compilation released on Revelation Records. Later that year, Sinking Ships signed to Revelation Records and released their album, ''Disconnecting'', in July 2006. During their existence, Sinking Ships toured with bands such as Comeback Kid, Down To Nothing, Shook Ones, Blacklisted, and Shipwreck. They also released an EP on Revelation entitled ''Ten'', as well as the tour-only single "Safe". Sinking Ships also released a split album released in Japan on the Alliance Trax label with the Japanese bands As We Let Go and My Love. A Storm of Light is an American heavy metal band from New York City, formed in 2008. Down to Nothing (or DTN) was a straight edge hardcore punk band from Richmond, Virginia. Since their inception in 2000, the band has toured all over the world. Their most recent studio recording is the 2013 LP ''Life on the James'' on Revelation Records, preceded by CD/vinyl EP titled ''All My Sons'' released in 2010 on Reaper Records (US) and Dead Souls Records (AUS). Down to Nothing's first two albums, '' Save It for the Birds'' and '' Splitting Headache'', are currently out of print but were re-released in February 2008 on one CD/LP titled ''Unbreakable''. Run for Cover Records is an American independent record label based in Boston, Massachusetts. Founded in 2004 by Jeff Casazza at the age of 17 with a $1,000 loan, the label functioned as a small one-person bedroom operation in Brighton, until Casazza graduated from Suffolk University in 2010.
