''Diaspora Problems'' is the fourth studio album by American hardcore punk band Soul Glo. The album was released on March 25, 2022, through Epitaph Records, their first release with the label. Two singles were released ahead of the album: "Jump! (Or Get Jumped by the Future!)" and "Driponomics". Critical reception ''Diaspora Problems'' received critical acclaim upon its release. Soul Glo
Soul Glo is an American hardcore punk band formed in 2014 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It is composed of Pierce Jordan (vocals), GG Guerra (guitar, programming), and TJ Stevenson (drums). History The band was originally a quartet featuring Pierce Jordan, Jamie Sokol, Ethan Brennan and Ruben Polo. In December 2016, the band supported Old Gray on a Northeast US weekend tour, including a Brooklyn show with support from Nine of Swords and a Boston show with support from Really From. In 2018, while the band was on tour, GG Guerra was arrested by the Missouri State Highway Patrol while on their way to a show in St. Louis, causing the band to fundraise $15,000 to bail him out. In 2021, the band signed to Epitaph Records followed by the release of volumes 1 & 2 of the ''DisNigga'' EP series. McKinley Dixon (born October 28, 1995) is an American rapper and singer from Richmond, Virginia. Background Dixon was born on October 28, 1995, in Annapolis, Maryland. He attended Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia. Around this time, he released two studio albums, his debut ''Who Taught You to Hate Yourself?'' in 2016 and his second album, ''The Importance of Self Belief''. Metacritic is a website that aggregates reviews of films, TV shows, music albums, video games and formerly, books. For each product, the scores from each review are averaged (a weighted average). Metacritic was created by Jason Dietz, Marc Doyle, and Julie Doyle Roberts in 1999. The site provides an excerpt from each review and hyperlinks to its source. A color of green, yellow or red summarizes the critics' recommendations. It is regarded as the foremost online review aggregation site for the video game industry. Metacritic's scoring converts each review into a percentage, either mathematically from the mark given, or what the site decides subjectively from a qualitative review.
