Derrick Deshaun Watson (born September 14, 1995) is an American professional American football, football quarterback for the Cleveland Browns of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Clemson Tigers football, Clemson Tigers, leading the team to a 2017 College Football Playoff National Championship, national championship in 2017 College Football Playoff National Championship, 2016. Watson was selected in the first round of the 2017 NFL draft by the Houston Texans. Passer rating (also known as passing efficiency in college football) is a measure of the performance of passers, primarily quarterbacks, in gridiron football. There are two formulas currently in use: one used by both the National Football League (NFL) and Canadian Football League (CFL), and the other used in NCAA football.
