Der Unsichtbare
''Der Unsichtbare'' (German for "The Invisible") is a 1987 German comedy film starring Klaus Wennemann, Barbara Rudnik and (in a non-singing role) the German popstar Nena. Plot Peter Benjamin (Klaus Wennemann), a successful middle-aged television talk-show host, is bequeathed by his uncle Josef (Rudolf Schündler) a magic cap, whose wearer becomes invisible. Benjamin decides to surprise his wife Helene ( Barbara Rudnik) but instead finds her making a phone call to her lover who, unbeknownst to Benjamin, is his personal assistant Eduard (Benedict Freitag). Distressed, Benjamin disposes of the cap in a street rubbish bin but, unhinged by his discovery, makes a mess of his TV show that evening in which he pleads his wife to stop doing what she is doing. Watching the programme, journalist Jo Schnell (Nena), whose boyfriend is cheating on her, senses a hot story. Rudolf Ernst Paul Schündler (17 April 1906, in Leipzig – 12 December 1988, in Munich) was a German actor and director. He played "Karl" in ''The Exorcist'' (1973). After finishing the film ''The Nasty Girl'', Schündler died of a heart attack in Germany, aged 82. The film was released in 1990, two years after his death. Klaus Wennemann
Klaus Wennemann (18 December 1940 – 7 January 2000) was a German television and film actor. Wenneman was born in Oer-Erkenschwick, North Rhine-Westphalia. He is perhaps best known for his leading roles as the Chief Engineer, (the LI), in ''Das Boot'', and as Faber in the TV series '' Der Fahnder''. As an actor, he appeared in nine movies, and ten television series. He died in Bad Aibling, Bavaria, at the age of 59, from lung cancer. He was married to the same woman from 1963 until his death; they had two sons together. Wennemann was good friends with fellow actor Jürgen Prochnow. Bernd Eichinger
Bernd Eichinger (; 11 April 194924 January 2011) was a German film producer, director, and screenwriter. Life and career Eichinger was born in Neuburg an der Donau. He attended the University of Television and Film Munich in the 1970s and bought a stake in the fledgling studio company ''Neue Constantin Film'' in 1979, becoming its executive director. Under his leadership, Constantin Film evolved into one of the most successful German film businesses. As of 2005, he was chairman of the supervisory board and still owned a substantial stake in the company. Eichinger also produced some movies independently (for example, ''Downfall'').
