Denmark–North Korea relations () refers to the current and historical relations between Denmark and Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), commonly known as North Korea. Denmark is represented in the DPRK, through its embassy in Beijing, China. The DPRK is represented in Denmark, through its embassy in Stockholm, Sweden. Denmark supports the efforts to get North Korea back to the six-party talks. Bilateralism is the conduct of political, economic, or cultural relations between two sovereign states. It is in contrast to unilateralism or multilateralism, which is activity by a single state or jointly by multiple states, respectively. When states recognize one another as sovereign states and agree to diplomatic relations, they create a bilateral relationship. Jeppe Sebastian Kofod (born 14 March 1974) is a former Danish politician of the Social Democratic Party who served as Minister of Foreign Affairs of Denmark between 27 June 2019 to 15 December 2022. Bombardment Of Yeonpyeong
The Bombardment of Yeonpyeongdo () was an artillery engagement between the North Korean military and South Korean forces stationed on the island Yeonpyeongdo on 23 November 2010. Following a South Korean artillery exercise in disputed waters near the island, North Korean forces fired around 170 artillery shells and rockets at Yeonpyeongdo, hitting both military and civilian targets. Shelling caused widespread damage on Yeonpyeongdo. South Korea retaliated by shelling North Korean gun positions. Lene Espersen (born 26 September 1965) is a former Danish politician, a former leader of Conservative People's Party and a former Minister of Justice.
