The Hives
The Hives are a Swedish garage rock band formed in Fagersta in 1993. After gaining success in Sweden throughout the 1990s, they rose to worldwide prominence in the early 2000s during the garage rock revival. Björn Daniel Arne Yttling (born 16 October 1974 in Umeå, Sweden) is a Swedish music producer, songwriter, and musician. His production and songwriting credits include Lykke Li, Chrissie Hynde, Primal Scream, Franz Ferdinand, Sahara Hotnights, Anna Ternheim. Christian Grahn (born ''Arne Christian Jääskeläinen''; 12 June 1978), known professionally by his stage name Chris Dangerous, is the drummer of Swedish rock band, The Hives. Biography Grahn began playing drums at age of nine. Growing up in Fagersta, Västmanland, Sweden, he played drums in a local band, Bad Dreams Always, a hardcore punk band. Grahn's father was part of a Finnish cover band called The Sailors, which, according to Howlin' Pelle Almqvist, The Hives' frontman, was "The biggest guitar rock band in Finland at the time." Niklas Almqvist (born 26 January 1977), better known by his stage name Nicholaus Arson, is the lead guitarist and backup vocalist of the Swedish garage rock band The Hives, of which his brother Pelle Almqvist, Howlin' Pelle is the lead singer.
