David Gabrovšek
David Gabrovšek (born September 18, 1994) is a Slovenian professional basketball player who plays for Donar Groningen. College career Gabrovšek played college basketball with Southwest Baptist and Missouri Baptist from 2013 to 2017. Professional career On July 30, 2020, he joined Rogaška. In May 2022, Gabrovšek was named the Icelandic Cup after turning in 29 points and 7 rebounds in Stjarnan's 93–85 cup finals victory against Þór Þorlákshöfn. On August 12, 2022, Gabrovšek moved to Karditsa of the Greek Basket League. In 20 league games, he averaged 6.7 points, 1.8 rebounds and 1 assist in 16 minutes per contest. Donar, also known as Donar Groningen, is a professional basketball club based in Groningen, Netherlands. The club competes in the BNXT League and its home arena is MartiniPlaza, which has a seating capacity of 4,350 people. Donar is one of the traditional first division clubs along with Den Bosch, as it entered the league years ago. Greek Basket League
The Greek Basket League (GBL), often also referred to as the Greek A1 Basketball League, or Greek Basketball Championship (originally called Panhellenic Basketball Championship), and also known as the Stoiximan Basket League for sponsorship reasons, is the first tier level professional basketball league in Greece. It is run by HEBA ( el, ΕΣΑΚΕ, link=no), under the legal authority of the Hellenic Basketball Federation (E.O.K.). It is the highest-tier level of the Greek league system. The GBL plays under FIBA rules and currently consists of 13 teams, with the lowest-placed team relegated to the A2 Basket League and replaced by the winner of the play-offs of that tier.
