Dave Sharman
Dave Sharman (born 10 September, West Midlands (region), West Midlands, England) is an English guitarist, singer-songwriter, whose primary genre is rock and metal. He is also a multi-instrumentalist and record producer. Career Sharman started to teach himself to play the guitar at the age of nine. His influences include: Eddie Van Halen, Alex Lifeson of Rush (band), Rush, Neal Schon of Journey (band), Journey, Tom Scholz of Boston (band), Boston and Allen Collins of Lynyrd Skynyrd, however, he possesses his own easily recognizable style. Sharman was given his musical break by rock DJ Tommy Vance who invited him to perform a session on the BBC Radio 1 ''Friday Rock Show'', which Vance used to host. Vance had listened to a 4 track demo tape that the teenage Sharman had sent him. The West Midlands is one of nine official regions of England at the first level of International Territorial Level for statistical purposes. Whitesnake are an English Rock music, rock band formed in London in 1978. The group were originally put together as the backing band for singer David Coverdale, who had recently left Deep Purple. Though the band quickly developed into their own entity, Coverdale is the only constant member throughout their history. John Michael "Ozzy" Osbourne (born 3 December 1948) is an English singer, songwriter, and media personality. Rainbow (also known as Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow or Blackmore's Rainbow) are a British Rock music, rock band formed in Hertford in 1975 by guitarist Ritchie Blackmore. Don Airey
Donald Smith Airey (born 21 June 1948) is an English musician. He came to prominence as the keyboardist of the rock band Rainbow during 1979–1982. He has been the keyboardist of Deep Purple, the band from which Rainbow was a spinoff, since 2002, after the retirement of Jon Lord. Maida Vale Studios is a complex of seven BBC sound studios, of which five are in regular use, in Delaware Road, Maida Vale, west London. It has been used to record thousands of classical music, popular music and drama sessions for BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 2, BBC Radio 3, BBC Radio 4 and BBC Radio 6 Music from 1946 to the present. On 30 October 2009, BBC Radio 1 celebrated ''75 Years of Maida Vale'' by exclusively playing 75 tracks recorded at the studios over the years. Genesis were an English rock music, rock band formed at Charterhouse School, in Godalming, Surrey, in 1967.
