Danielle Renee Sassoon (born 1986) is an American attorney who served as the acting United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York, U.S. attorney for the Southern District of New York between January 21, 2025, and February 13, 2025, appointed by Donald Trump. As an assistant United States attorney in the district, she secured prominent convictions against sex trafficker Larry Ray (criminal), Larry Ray and fraudster Sam Bankman-Fried.
