''Dancing Stage EuroMix'' is a music video game, developed by Konami, released to European arcades in August 2000. In North America, the game was released as ''Dance Dance Revolution USA'' in October 2000. ''Dancing Stage EuroMix'' was also released for the PlayStation on June 1, 2001. Gameplay The core gameplay involves the player stepping their feet to correspond with the arrows that appear on screen and the beat. During normal gameplay, arrows scroll upwards from the bottom of the screen and pass over a set of stationary arrows near the top (referred to as the "guide arrows" or "receptors", officially known as the Step Zone). When the scrolling arrows overlap the stationary ones, the player must step on the corresponding arrows on the dance platform, and the player is given a judgement for their accuracy of every streaked note. Emma Sarah Morton-Smith (born 7 August 1977) is an English singer-songwriter and presenter. Music career After completing a GNVQ qualification in Fashion Design at Stockport College, Emmie became known for the UK No. 5 hit single " More Than This" in 1999, a cover version of Roxy Music's 1982 song. She became the singer of the track when she met record producer Mark Hadfield (of bands Loveland, Urban Cookie Collective, Rhythm Quest, Lucid & Lovefreekz) at a party in their hometown. E-Rotic are a Eurodance duo act formed in 1994 by German record producer David Brandes. The act is best known in Europe for the hits " Max Don't Have Sex With Your Ex" and "Fred Come to Bed". E-Rotic originally consisted of German born singer Lyane Leigh (real name Liane Hegemann) and American rapper Richard Allen Smith (a.k.a. Raz-Ma-Taz). The act is known for its use of sexual references in their songs and music videos. Captain Jack is a German Eurodance and dance-rock project formed in Darmstadt, Germany, in 1995. The project is best known for the single "Captain Jack", which reached the Top-10 in many countries in Europe. Cameo is an American funk band that formed in 1974. Cameo was initially a 14-member group known as the New York City Players; this name was later changed to Cameo. As of the first half of 2009, some of the original members continued to perform together. Two other original members were hired by the hip hop group Outkast. ''The Age of Plastic'' is the debut album by the English new wave duo the Buggles, released on 10 January 1980 on Island Records. It is a concept album about the possible repercussions of modern technology. The title was conceived from the group's intention of being a "plastic group" and the album was produced in the wake of the success of their debut record, "Video Killed the Radio Star" (1979), which topped the UK Singles Chart. Most of the album's other tracks were written during promotion of the single. The album was recorded on a budget of £60,000. The Buggles
The Buggles were an English new wave band formed in London in 1977 by singer and bassist Trevor Horn and keyboardist Geoff Downes. They are best known for their 1979 debut single " Video Killed the Radio Star", which topped the UK Singles Chart and reached number one in 15 other countries and was chosen as the song to launch MTV in 1981. The duo released their first album, '' The Age of Plastic'', in January 1980 with "Video Killed the Radio Star" as its lead single. "Video Killed the Radio Star" is a song written by Trevor Horn, Geoff Downes and Bruce Woolley in 1979. It was recorded concurrently by Bruce Woolley and the Camera Club (with Thomas Dolby on keyboards) for their album '' English Garden'' and by British new wave/synth-pop group the Buggles, which consisted of Horn and Downes (and initially Woolley). The Buggles' version of the track was recorded and mixed in 1979, released as their debut single on 7 September 1979 by Island Records, and included on their first album '' The Age of Plastic''.
