Dana Wachs
Dana John Wachs (born August 25, 1957) is an American lawyer and politician who represented the 91st District in the Wisconsin State Assembly. Wachs was a candidate for Governor of Wisconsin in 2018. Early life and legal career Born in Eau Claire, Wisconsin to Lucille (a teacher) and Ray Wachs (former Eau Claire City Attorney and City Manager), Wachs graduated from Eau Claire Memorial High School, Marquette University and received his J.D. degree from Valparaiso University School of Law. Wachs has practiced law in Eau Claire for 30 years. He has achieved the highest rating, AV, by Martindale-Hubbell for legal ability and ethical standards. He has been named a Wisconsin Super Lawyer. He has also been recognized as one of the top lawyers in Wisconsin by Milwaukee Magazine and was named to the National “Top 100 Lawyers” list by the National Trial Lawyers Organization. The 91st Assembly District of Wisconsin is one of 99 districts of the Wisconsin State Assembly. Located in western Wisconsin, the district covers most of the city of Eau Claire, Wisconsin, in northwest Eau Claire County. The Wisconsin Legislature is the state legislature of the U.S. state of Wisconsin. Tony Evers
Anthony Steven Evers (born November 5, 1951) is an American educator and politician serving as the 46th governor of Wisconsin since 2019. A member of the Democratic Party, he served as Wisconsin's Superintendent of Public Instruction from 2009 to 2019. Born and raised in Plymouth, Wisconsin, Evers was educated at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, eventually receiving a Ph.D. After working as a teacher for several years, he became a school administrator, serving as a principal, until he assumed the office of district superintendent. Evers first ran for Superintendent of Public Instruction in 1993 and again in 2001, losing both elections. Evers was instead appointed deputy superintendent, a position he served in from 2001 to 2009. In 2009, he ran for Superintendent of Public Instruction again, this time winning.
