Dan Dugan (audio Engineer)
Dan Dugan (born March 20, 1943) is an American Audio engineering, audio engineer, Invention, inventor, and Field recording, nature sounds recordist. He was the first person in regional theatre to be called a sound designer, and he developed the first effective automatic microphone mixer: the automixer. Dugan's sound design work was acknowledged in 2003 with a Distinguished Career Award by the United States Institute for Theatre Technology, and in 2020 with an Emmy Award for technology relevant to remote working. In 2021 he was awarded Fellowship in the Audio Engineering Society. In his youth, Dugan was fascinated by the Stagecraft, technical aspects of theatre. He worked as a lighting designer then transitioned to sound design in 1967. Madrigal (music)
A madrigal is a form of secular vocal music most typical of the Renaissance music, Renaissance (15th–16th centuries) and early Baroque music, Baroque (1580–1650) periods, although revisited by some later European composers. Roger Wagner
Roger Wagner, KCSG (January 16, 1914 – September 17, 1992) was an American choral musician, administrator and educator. In 1946 he founded the Roger Wagner Chorale, which became one of America's premier vocal ensembles. He also founded the Los Angeles Master Chorale, one of the three original resident companies of the Los Angeles Music Center, in 1964. Bass (voice Type)
A bass is a type of classical male singing voice and has the lowest vocal range of all voice types. According to '' The New Grove Dictionary of Opera'', a bass is typically classified as having a vocal range extending from around the second E below middle C to the E above middle C (i.e., E2–E4).
