A dashpot, also known as a damper, is a mechanical device that resists motion via viscous damping. The Millennium Bridge, officially known as the London Millennium Footbridge, is a steel suspension bridge for pedestrians crossing the River Thames in London, England, linking Bankside with the City of London. A stall is the slowing or stopping of a process, and, in the case of an engine, refers to a sudden stopping of the engine turning, usually brought about accidentally.
