DNK (duo)
DNK () were a Macedonian hip-hop duo from Skopje. The main members of the group were Vladimir Blažev, known as Pančo, and , known as Andrej DNK. In 2025, while they were performing at a night club in Kočani, a fire broke out, which killed Andrej and seriously injured Vladimir. Six other members of the team supporting the duo died in the disaster. History As artists with prior music experience and education, Andrej DNK and Pančo started a band in 2001, and released their first single shortly afterward. In 2010, DNK released their debut album titled ''It's Everything'', through their home house "Production Republic", as a producer Vrcak appears, and the album consists of 18 songs, including the single "Full Moon", "Keep Me", "Purposed to You", "She Hides". Skopje
Skopje ( , ; ; , sq-definite, Shkupi) is the capital and largest city of North Macedonia. Kočani
Kočani ( ) is a town in the eastern part of North Macedonia, situated around east from Skopje. It has a population of 24,632 as of 2021 and is the seat of the Kočani Municipality. Kočani Nightclub Fire
On 16 March 2025, a fire at the Pulse nightclub in Kočani, North Macedonia, killed 62 people and injured 193. The fire started when sparks from indoor fireworks hit the ceiling and set it alight, rapidly enveloping the venue in thick and toxic smoke. The nightclub was unlicensed and broke numerous safety standards: among other things, it lacked sprinklers, sufficient emergency exits, and only had a single fire extinguisher. Rescue efforts were hampered by the nightclub's location in a densely populated neighborhood, which caused firetrucks difficulty in reaching it. Local hospitals were severely ill-equipped to deal with the influx of victims, with some left lying in the street due to a insufficient number of ambulances.
