D-A-D is a Danish rock band. They were originally named Disneyland After Dark, but changed their name to avoid a lawsuit from The Walt Disney Company. History In the early 1980s in Copenhagen, D-A-D started playing together under their original name ''Disneyland After Dark''. Pedersen came up with the name based on the idea that when the lights are out in Disneyland, anything can happen. The first lineup of D-A-D consisted of Jesper, Stig, Peter and Stig's girlfriend, Lene Glumer. The band's debut concert was at the youth club Sundby Algaard. In December 1982, Lene Glumer left the band and the three of them kept playing together and on 3 March. 1984 Jesper's younger brother, Jacob, joined the band at a concert at Musikcaféen in Copenhagen. The band released their first album, '' Call of the Wild'' in 1986. ''No Fuel Left for the Pilgrims'' is the third (and first international) studio album by Danish rock band D-A-D. The album was released on 3 March 1989 in Denmark by Medley Records and worldwide on 8 September 1989 by Warner Bros. The band was still called Disneyland After Dark on the original Danish release but changed their name to D-A-D for the international release to avoid a lawsuit from The Walt Disney Company. For the international version tracks 1, 3, 4 & 7 were remixed by Chris Lord-Alge at Image Recording in Los Angeles. It was the band's most popular release, largely due to the inclusion of the minor hits "Rim of Hell" and "Sleeping My Day Away". The album reached #116 on the US ''Billboard'' 200 chart, while the album's first single "Sleeping My Day Away" reached #23 on ''Billboards Album Rock Tracks chart and #87 on the UK Singles Chart. ''Call of the Wild'' is the first studio album by Danish rock band D-A-D, at the time known as Disneyland After Dark. The album was released on 4 February 1986 by Mega Records. The album has been received with mixed reviews. The genre of the album is more country than the hard rock of their later albums. "Sleeping My Day Away" is the most successful single from the Danish rock band D-A-D outside Denmark, with two weeks on the UK top 100. The single was released in 1989, with "Ill Will" as the b-side. Both songs appear on their ''No Fuel Left for the Pilgrims'' album. The song was covered by German gothic rock band Mono Inc. for their album ''Pain, Love & Poetry''. The kazoo is an American musical instrument that adds a "buzzing" timbral quality to a player's voice when the player vocalizes into it. Xylophone
The xylophone (; ) is a musical instrument in the percussion family that consists of wooden bars struck by mallets. Like the glockenspiel (which uses metal bars), the xylophone essentially consists of a set of tuned wooden keys arranged in the fashion of the keyboard of a piano. Each bar is an idiophone tuned to a pitch of a musical scale, whether pentatonic or heptatonic in the case of many African and Asian instruments, diatonic in many western children's instruments, or chromatic for orchestral use. Vibraphone
The vibraphone is a percussion instrument in the metallophone family. It consists of tuned metal bars and is typically played by using mallets to strike the bars. A person who plays the vibraphone is called a ''vibraphonist,'' ''vibraharpist,'' or ''vibist''. The vibraphone resembles the steel marimba, which it superseded. One of the main differences between the vibraphone and other keyboard percussion instruments is that each bar suspends over a resonator tube containing a flat metal disc.
