''Czech Peace'' ( cs, Český mír) is a 2010 Czech documentary film directed by Vít Klusák and Filip Remunda. The film won the White Goose award at the DMZ International Documentary Film Festival in 2010. The film followed a 2004 documentary from the same pair of directors, ''Czech Dream'' (''Český sen''). Filip Remunda
Filip Remunda (born 1973 in Prague, Czechoslovakia) is a Czech film director, cinematographer and producer. He is best known for co-directing the 2004 documentary comedy ''Czech Dream'' ( cs, Český sen). Biography Remunda graduated from the documentary film department of the Film and TV School of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (FAMU) in 2005, in the masterclass of Karel Vachek. His film, ''Village B.'', was named best documentary film at the 2002 Karlovy Vary International Film Festival and at the 2003 FAMU Festival, and received the Don Quixote Award at the 2003 Art Film Trenčianske Teplice festival, as well as several other prizes at festivals in Europe and the United States. During his studies, Remunda also attended a workshop at the Sam Spiegel Film and Television School in Jerusalem. DMZ International Documentary Film Festival (), also known as DMZ Docs, is a South Korean film festival for documentary films jointly presented by Gyeonggi Province, Paju and Goyang. Czech Dream
''Czech Dream'' ( cz, Český sen) is a 2004 documentary film directed by two Czech film directors, Vít Klusák and Filip Remunda. It recorded a large-scale hoax perpetrated by Klusák and Remunda on the Czech public, culminating in the opening event of a fake hypermarket in the Letňany neighborhood of Prague. The film was their graduation project for film school. Concept Remunda and Klusák invented the ''Český sen'' ("Czech dream") hypermarket and created a massive advertising campaign around it. Posing as businessmen, the two film students managed to persuade an ad agency and a public relations agency to create a campaign for them. Billboards appeared on Czech highways, and 200,000 pamphlets were distributed in Prague. A jingle was recorded, and there was a series of television commercials.
