Cumbernauld Colts F.C.
Cumbernauld Colts Football Club is a football team from Cumbernauld, Scotland which was formed in 1969. The senior team competed in the Caledonian Amateur Football League with the club eventually entering the Lowland Football League in 2015. History Colts were formed in 1969, and had success as a youth football club in the 70s and 80s, helping develop young footballers such as future Scotland internationals Derek Whyte, Jackie McNamara and Dougie Bell. The club had a period of decline in the '90s, due to several of its teams disbanding. It was re-branded in 1999, and built its way back up. In 2015, the club was awarded full membership of the Scottish FA and was elected to the SLFL. Lee Hollis
Lee James Hollis (born 27 March 1986 in Lanark, Scotland) is a Scottish footballer who plays as a goalkeeper, and is known to have most recently play for Scottish Amateur side Benburb now goalie coach of lowland league side Cumbernauld Colts. He started his career at Airdrie United before signing for Lanarkshire derby rivals Motherwell. Career Airdrie United Hollis started his career at Airdrie United and in June 2007, signed a new contract for the next season and twelve month later, signed another new deal for the next season. On 17 January 2009, Hollis made his debut for the club, in a 1–1 draw against Dunfermline Athletic. Then, on 18 June 2009, Hollis signed another new deal for the next season. The 2018–19 Scottish Lowland Football League (known as the Geosonic Lowland League for sponsorship reasons) was the 6th season of the Lowland Football League, the fifth tier of the Scottish football pyramid system. The season began on 28 July 2018 and ended on 20 April 2019. Spartans were the defending champions. East of Scotland League champions Kelty Hearts joined the league after becoming the first club to gain promotion via the Lowland League play-off, thanks to their win against South of Scotland League winners Threave Rovers at the end of the previous season. Selkirk resigned at the end of August after fulfilling three league games, reducing the number of clubs to 15. Forres Mechanics
Forres Mechanics Football Club are a senior Scottish association football club from the town of Forres, Moray, currently playing in the Highland Football League. They play at the town's Mosset Park. Forres Mechanics are the oldest association football club in the North of Scotland and are one of only two original teams to play in the Highland League since its first season in 1893, the other being Clachnacuddin.
