Corey Millen
Corey Eugene Millen (born March 30, 1964) is an American former professional ice hockey center. He played in the National Hockey League between 1990 and 1997 with five teams. Internationally he played for the American national team at several tournaments, including the 1984 and 1988 Winter Olympics. In 2020, he was named the head coach of the St. Cloud Norsemen in the North American Hockey League. Career NHL Millen played for the University of Minnesota after being selected by the New York Rangers in the 1982 NHL Entry Draft. Millen started his National Hockey League career with the Rangers in 1990 where he appeared in four games. He also played for the Los Angeles Kings, New Jersey Devils, Dallas Stars and Calgary Flames. He was sent to the Calgary Flames along with Jarome Iginla in the trade which sent Joe Nieuwendyk to the Dallas Stars. He left the NHL after the 1997 season. Centre (ice Hockey)
The centre (or center in the United States) in ice hockey is a forward position of a player whose primary zone of play is the middle of the ice, away from the sideboards. Centres have more flexibility in their positioning and therefore often end up covering more ice surface than any other player. Centres are ideally strong, fast skaters who are able to back-check quickly from deep in the opposing zone. Generally, centres are expected to be gifted passers more so than goal scorers, although there are exceptions - typically larger centres who position themselves directly in front of the net in order to score off rebounds. Alaska Avalanche
The Johnstown Tomahawks are a Tier II junior ice hockey team in the North American Hockey League's East Division. The team plays its home games at the 1st Summit Bank Arena at Cambria County War Memorial in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. It is the oldest extant franchise in the NAHL. EHC Visp
EHC Visp is a Swiss professional ice hockey team based in Visp and competing in the Swiss League (SL). The club was founded in 1939 and became Swiss champion in 1962. Visp has also won the league title in NLB three times; 1960, 2011 and 2014. Their home arena is the 5,150-seat Lonza Arena. The Swiss League is the second tier of the main professional ice hockey league in Switzerland, behind the National League. The winners of the league each season plays a best-of-seven series against the bottom team of the NL, and if they win, they are promoted, while the National League team is relegated to the Swiss League. Prior to the 2017–18 season, the league was formerly called National League B. The league attendance in 2018–19 was about 2,700 spectators.
