Colors Gujarati, formerly known as ETV Gujarati is an Indian television channel that primarily broadcasts Gujarati entertainment shows. History Based in Ahmedabad, it was started by Prism TV pvt. ltd. It is now part of Viacom 18 and TV18 which are owned by Network 18. ETV Gujarati was re-branded under the Colors franchise on 20 April 2015. Colors Gujarati initiated the BIG Gujarati Entertainment Awards for excellence in the world of Gujarati entertainment and also telecasts Gujarati films. The channel launched in UK in June 2021. It launched on Sky UK on 1 June 2021 and on 8 June 2021 on Virgin TV UK. Colors Bangla, previously known as ETV Bangla, is an Indian general entertainment pay television channel broadcasting in Bengali language. It was launched in 2000 as ETV Bangla, owned by the Hyderabad-based ETV Network. It was later sold to TV18 and was rebranded under the Colors moniker. History The channel aired the Filmfare Awards East 2017. The channel was re-branded under the Viacom18 Colors franchise on 1 April 2015. Colors Bangla started their HD channel from 2 May 2016 along with the HD versions of Colors Kannada and Colors Marathi. On 30 August 2021 6:30 PM IST, on account of Janmashtami it rebranded and introduced new graphics after almost 5 and a half years, where it is not only pink colour, but also with violet swoosh, and the wordmark 'Bangla' is now of white colour instead of red colour and the red colour is bordering the 'Bangla' wordmark. Nickelodeon Sonic (formerly Sonic-Nickelodeon) is an Indian children's pay television channel operated by Viacom18 as part of the Nickelodeon India network. After on the air, Sonic became the fourth most watched channel across all genres with TRP in December 2020. History Viacom18 launched the channel in December 2011. When it launched, the channel mostly aired action shows like ''Power Rangers'', ''Kung Fu Panda'' and ''Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles''. On 3 May 2016, the channel was rebranded with the tag line "Destination of high decibel comedy and action", and was given a new logo. Since the rebrand, the channel has shifted its focus to comedy and started producing some original local shows. TeenNick India was a programming block on Nick Jr. India devoted to teens. It was part of Nickelodeon India. TeenNick India was discontinued on 1 February 2017. History Nickelodeon India does not air live action Nickelodeon programming on the main channel and decided to launch those shows as part of a night time programming block in 2012 on Nick Jr. India. Later, it started showing animated Nickelodeon programming like ''Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles''. Nick HD+ launched in 2015 also had some live action programming. Nick Junior is an Indian children's pay television kids channel which is devoted to toddlers. The channel is the Indian equivalent to the original American network and a part of the Nickelodeon franchise. History The channel was a block on Nick India then Viacom18 launched it as a separate channel in fall of 2012. Viacom18 launched TeenNick India and Nick Jr. as a single channel on 21 November 2012. At first, Nick Jr. aired in the daytime while TeenNick aired at night. However, TeenNick was discontinued on 1 February 2017, which made Nick Jr. a 24-hour channel. Nickelodeon (abbreviated as Nick) is an Indian children's pay television network based in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
