Barry Cofield
Barry Joseph Cofield, Jr. (born March 19, 1984) is a former American football defensive tackle who played ten seasons in the National Football League (NFL). He was drafted in the fourth round by the New York Giants in the 2006 NFL Draft and has also played for the Washington Redskins. He played college football at Northwestern University. High school career Cofield attended Cleveland Heights High School where he was a letterman in football, basketball, baseball, and track. In football, as a senior, he was named as an All-Midwest Region selection by SuperPrep, was a second-team All-State selection, was a first-team All-Lake Erie selection, and an All-District selection. Bill Cofield
William Lawrence Cofield (September 21, 1939 – June 20, 1983) was an American basketball coach. He was the first African-American head coach of a major sport in the Big Ten Conference when he was hired by the University of Wisconsin–Madison in 1976. Background Cofield was born and raised in Carrier Mills, Illinois. He played college basketball at Casper Junior College in Casper, Wyoming and at McKendree University in Lebanon, Illinois, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in physical education in 1963. He received a master's degree in physical education from the University of Kentucky in 1967. Career Cofield's first coaching assignment was at H. E. Takoby Cofield
Takoby Cofield (born January 22, 1992) is a former Canadian football left tackle and is the assistant offensive line coach for the Edmonton Elks of the Canadian Football League (CFL). He played college football at Duke and was originally signed as an undrafted free agent by the Washington Redskins. He played two seasons with the Saskatchewan Roughriders. Early life and education Takoby Cofield was born on January 22, 1992, in Tarboro, North Carolina. He went to Tarboro High School in North Carolina. He played college football at Duke. While at Duke, he played 42 consecutive games, playing in 3,274 snaps. In his senior season, he was named All-Atlantic Coast Conference.
