Cody Hanson
Cody Hanson (born May 24, 1982) is an American musician, songwriter and producer who is best known for being the drummer and one of the founding members in the American rock band Hinder. He also co-owns the production company Back Lounge Productions with fellow Hinder bandmate Marshal Dutton. Early life Hanson was born in Plano, Texas but relocated to Jones, Oklahoma with his family when he was 1 year old. At the age of 12, Hanson received his first drum kit as a Christmas gift. He immediately fell in love with the drums and began teaching himself how to play, he started a band in middle school but lost interest in the drums by high school and began playing guitar. Career Hinder Other projects In October 2019 Hanson announced a new side band along with Hinder band-mate Marshal Dutton titled "Dangerous Hippies". Plano, Texas
Plano ( ) is a city in Collin County and Denton County, Texas, United States. It had a population of 285,494 at the 2020 census. It is a principal city of the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex. History European settlers came to the area near present-day Plano in the early 1840s. Facilities such as a sawmill, a gristmill, and a store soon brought more people to the area. ''Stripped'' is an acoustic EP by American rock band Hinder. The EP was released May 13, 2016 via The End Records. This is the band's first strictly acoustic project to be released and is their second EP, the first being their 2003 debut EP '' Far from Close''. Summary Before playing a show at the venue Ziggy's By The Sea in Wilmington, North Carolina on January 6, 2016 the band was interviewed by ''The Baltimore Sun'';during the interview the group announced that they had begun working on an acoustic EP and already started writing for their next studio album, singer Marshal Dutton said the projects should be released by the end of the year. ''The Reign'' is the sixth studio album by the American rock band Hinder, the album was released August 11, 2017 via The End Records. Background and recording After playing a show at the venue "Ziggy's By The Sea" in Wilmington, North Carolina the group did an interview with The Baltimore Sun and talked about the band's place over the course of the past year. The group stated that they had no choice but to find a new lead singer in order to keep the band alive. The band went on to say that the change in singers was a fresh start for both Hinder and Austin John, and that they are searching for another hit song as big as "Lips of an Angel". The album was released on May 12, 2015 by their new label The End Records and is their first album without former lead singer and founding member Austin John Winkler. It is also their first album to feature Marshal Dutton as the new lead vocalist. Released on December 4, 2012 by Republic Records, it is the band's successor to ''All American Nightmare'', released in 2010.
