Club Deportivo Universidad Católica (sports Club)
The Club Deportivo Universidad Católica is a multi-sports organization from Chile representing the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile that puts together 14 sport branches, being the most famous the Football branch. The club has the best infrastructure in the country and has the most sport branches than any other club. Until the soccer branch became independent a few years ago, it was this branch that shared its earnings with the other branches, allowing them to survive and succeed. However, these actions prevented the soccer club to reinvest and compete aggressively at the domestic and international level, where there are other clubs with bigger budgets and funds to invest in players. Since its foundation, the colors that identify the team are the white and the blue. Estadio San Carlos De Apoquindo
Estadio San Carlos de Apoquindo is a football stadium, in Las Condes in the metropolitan region of Santiago de Chile. It is used mostly for home matches stadium of the Chilean top club CD Universidad Católica which also owns the stadium. The stadium was built in 1988 and currently holds 14,118 people. At the club's beginning, all sports were on ''Santa Rosa de las Condes'' Stadium, which is a big sport centre that is going to be demolished and transported to San Carlos. The club president of the time ''Manuel Vélez Samaniego'' decided to open this sports complex. By 1945, the club played as the home team at the ''Independencia Stadium'' which was demolished because of the financial problems of the club, and started to play at Unión Española Stadium, the Santa Laura. Las Condes is a commune of Chile located in Santiago Province, Santiago Metropolitan Region. The area is inhabited primarily by upper-mid- to high income families, and known in the Chilean collective consciousness as home to the country's economic elite. Basketball

Santiago
