Clayton (Tarzan)
''Tarzan'' is a 1999 American animated adventure film produced by Walt Disney Feature Animation for Walt Disney Pictures. The 37th Disney animated feature film, and the tenth and last released during the Disney Renaissance era, it is based on the 1912 story ''Tarzan of the Apes'' by Edgar Rice Burroughs, being the first animated major motion picture version of the story. The film was directed by Kevin Lima and Chris Buck (in his feature directorial debut) and produced by Bonnie Arnold, from a screenplay written by Tab Murphy and the writing team of Bob Tzudiker and Noni White. Kevin Lima
Kevin Rupert Lima (born June 12, 1962) is an American film director who has directed ''A Goofy Movie'' (1995), '' Tarzan'' (1999), ''102 Dalmatians'' (2000), and '' Enchanted'' (2007). He is married to Brenda Chapman, the head of story for ''The Lion King'' (1994) and the co-director of ''The Prince of Egypt'' (1998) and '' Brave'' (2012). Life and career Kevin was born in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. His grandparents were both Portuguese. Lima studied film and animation at the California Institute of the Arts, during the mid-1980s.
