"Civic" is a common name for the district, but it is also called Civic Centre, City Centre, Canberra City and Canberra, and its official division name is ''City''. Chapman is a suburb of Canberra, Australian Capital Territory, Australia, where many diplomats and some of the wealthier citizens of Canberra chose to take their residency. Narrabundah College
Narrabundah College is a government college that teaches the last two years of secondary education in the Australian Capital Territory (ACT). It was the first school in Australia to offer the International Baccalaureate (IB), starting the programme in February 1978. History Narrabundah College was formed as a result of the ACT developing its own education system in 1974. The new system meant that public high schools would only teach from year 7 to 10, and that years 11 and 12 would be completed at a separate school. The pre-existing Narrabundah High School was re-formed as Narrabundah College. Due to low enrolments, the ACT Schools' Authority threatened to close the school in 1978. Manuka ( , sometimes pronounced as ) is an area in the Inner South district of Canberra, Australia covering parts of the suburbs of Griffith and Forrest. Woden Interchange is located in Woden Town Centre, Canberra adjacent to Westfield Woden. It is served by ACTION and CDC Canberra services. History In March 1972, the National Capital Development Commission awarded Leighton Contractors a contract to build Woden bus station. It opened on 4 December 1972. On 6 December 1982 an upgrade was completed that doubled its size and included heated waiting rooms. In 1994 a further upgrade was completed. Florey () is a residential suburb of the Belconnen district of Canberra, located within the Australian Capital Territory, Australia. Florey was gazetted on 5 August 1975 and most houses were constructed in the mid-1980s. The suburb itself is named after Howard Florey, Baron Florey, who shared the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine in 1945 for his role in the extraction of penicillin.
