China Resources Holdings Company Limited (), or simply China Resources, is a Chinese state-owned conglomerate that owns a variety of businesses in Hong Kong and Mainland China. Some of its subsidiaries use the name in the form of the acronym CRC. History The company started as Liow & Company () in Hong Kong in 1938. Its original purpose was to raise funds and purchase supplies and equipment for the Eighth Route Army and later People's Liberation Army, then engaged in the Chinese Civil War. It was renamed as China Resources Corporation () in 1948. In 1983, the company was incorporated as China Resources (Holdings) Company Limited (). Operations The company's main business focus is the export of mainland Chinese products (including energy) to Hong Kong. China Resources Tower (), colloquially known as the Spring Bamboo (), is a supertall skyscraper in Houhai, Nanshan, Shenzhen, Guangdong. Construction started in 2012 and the building topped out on July 1, 2016. It surpassed Shun Hing Square as the 3rd tallest building in Shenzhen upon its completion in 2018. It is owned by China Resources, which has its headquarters there. At the foot of the building is the shopping mall named "Shenzhen Bay MixC", together with basement carparks. Subways connects the shopping mall with Shenzhen Bay Sports Centre and Shenzhen Metro Line 11 Houhai Station. Eighth Route Army
The Eighth Route Army (), officially known as the 18th Group Army of the National Revolutionary Army of the Republic of China, was a group army under the command of the Chinese Communist Party, nominally within the structure of the Chinese military headed by the Chinese Nationalist Party during the Second Sino-Japanese War. The Eighth Route Army was created from the Chinese Red Army on September 22, 1937, when the Chinese Communists and Chinese Nationalists formed the Second United Front against Japan at the outbreak of the Second Sino-Japanese War, as the Chinese theater was known in World War II. Together with the New Fourth Army, the Eighth Route Army formed the main Communist fighting force during the war and was commanded by Communist party leader Mao Zedong and general Zhu De. All Seasons Place is a mixed-use skyscraper complex in Bangkok, Thailand. It comprises the -tall China Resources Tower (also known as the China Resources Center or CRC Tower) and four smaller buildings that surround it: two office towers (M Thai Tower and Capitol Tower), a residential condominium (All Seasons Mansion) and the Conrad Bangkok hotel. Shanxi (; ; formerly romanised as Shansi) is a landlocked province of the People's Republic of China and is part of the North China region.
