Chikku Bukku
''Chikku Bhukku'' is a 2010 Tamil romance film written and directed by K. Manikandan and produced by Sunanda Murali Manohar, starring Arya, debutante Preetika and Shriya Saran, in the lead roles, with Santhanam and Anoop Kumar in supporting roles. The film was released on 3 December 2010. The movie is based on the 2003 South Korean movie '' The Classic''. The name of the film is based on the song of the same name from ''Gentleman'' (1993). Jeeva (21 September 1963 – 26 June 2007) was an Indian filmmaker, cinematographer and film director in Tamil, Hindi and Malayalam-language cinema. He was an established cinematographer in the late 90s and early 2000s. Career Jeeva started his career assisting cinematographer P. C. Sreeram in the films such as ''Nayakan'', ''Agni Natchathiram'', '' Apoorva Sagodharargal'', ''Idhaya Thamarai'', ''Gopura Vasalile'' and ''Meera''. He became an independent cinematographer in Priyadarshan's Malayalam film ''Abhimanyu'' (1991) starring Mohanlal and went on to film over 20 films including his own directorials. Dhaam Dhoom
''Dhaam Dhoom'' is a 2008 Indian Tamil-language action thriller film based on the 1997 American film ''Red Corner''. Written, filmed and directed by Jeeva shortly before his death and produced by Sunanda Murali Manohar, it stars Jayam Ravi, Kangana Ranaut, Lakshmi Rai and Jayaram. The film revolves around a Tamil Indian doctor who, two weeks prior to his wedding, goes to Russia for a conference pertaining to his occupation, that of a doctor. While in Russia, he struggles to cope with the language because of the Russian reluctance to speak English, and eventually, due to the gruesome murder of a local woman, he gets imprisoned. George Maryan
George Maryan (born 23 March 1963) is an Indian actor and comedian, who has appeared in Tamil cinema. He started his career in theatre, before working in Tamil cinema and has often collaborated with film-makers A. L. Vijay, Sundar C and Priyadarshan. Vasu, popularly known as Halwa Vasu, (died 17 August 2017) was a comedian in the Tamil film industry in India. He worked in around 900 films. Career Vasu who hailed from Madurai district, came to Chennai to work in cinemas after his graduation. Vasu worked as an assistant to director-actor Manivannan, he carved a niche for himself in comedy films and has also acted alongside the likes of Vadivelu. He was given the name "Halwa Vasu" after the film ''Amaidhi Padai'' (1994), in which he brings halwa which is adulterated with abin, a drug, by the antagonist in the movie who uses it to rape an innocent girl. Pandu (19 February 1947 – 6 May 2021) was an Indian Tamil actor and graphic designer who appeared in many comedy roles in Tamil cinema. He made his acting debut in the film ''Maanavan'' (1970). A Doctor of Philosophy graduate in arts from France, he was also a visual artist who founded Capital Letters, a graphic designing company. Sukumari
Sukumari Amma (6 October 1940 – 26 March 2013) was an Indian actress best known for her works in Malayalam and Tamil films. In a career spanning more than five decades, She has appeared in more than 2500 films predominantly in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, along with few Hindi and one each in Sinhala, French, Bengali, Tulu, English and Kannada films. Sukumari began acting at the age of 10. In 2003, she was awarded the Padma Shri by the Government of India for her contributions toward the arts. She won the National Film Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in the Tamil film '' Namma Gramam'' (2010). Sukumari died on 26 March 2013 in Chennai, following a heart attack.
