Chelsea Brady is a fictional character on the NBC soap opera ''Days of Our Lives''. Created by head writer Sally Sussman Morina, the role was originally played by Mandy Musgrave. The role was recast with Rachel Melvin in 2005. Melvin portrayed the character from 2005 to 2009, after the character moves to London to take care of her mother, Billie Reed. Mandy Musgrave
Amanda Marie Musgrave (born September 19, 1986) is an American actress and singer. Best known for her portrayal of Ashley Davies on the television series ''South of Nowhere'', as well as portraying Misty Monroe in the web series '' Girltrash!'' and the film '' Girltrash: All Night Long'', she has also appeared on a number of shows as a guest star. Early life Musgrave was born in Orlando, Florida, and began acting at the age of 6. She became interested in acting while in high school. Brady Black is a fictional character from ''Days of Our Lives'', an American soap opera on the NBC network. Formerly portrayed by Kyle Lowder, the role of Brady has been portrayed by Eric Martsolf since 2008. Martsolf won a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series in 2014 for his role as Brady. Child actors portrayed the character of Philip until he was rapidly aged and returned under the portrayal of Brandon Tyler in October 1999.
