Charmander
Charmander (), known as in Japan, is a Pokémon species in Nintendo's and Game Freak's ''Pokémon'' franchise. Created by Atsuko Nishida, Charmander first appeared in the video games ''Pokémon Red'' and ''Blue'' and subsequent sequels, later appearing in various merchandise, spinoff titles, and various movies, animated and printed adaptations of the franchise. The end of a Charmander's tail is alight with a flame, and the flame's size reflects both the physical health and the emotions of the individual. It is known as the Lizard Pokemon. Charmander is one of three 'starter' Pokémon that can be selected at the beginning of ''Pokémon Red'' and ''Blue'', and their remakes, ''Pokémon FireRed'' and ''LeafGreen''. In the anime, Ash acquires a Charmander early in the series, and it became one of his most used Pokémon. Charizard (), known in Japan as , is a Pokémon in Nintendo and Game Freak's '' Pokémon'' franchise. Created by Atsuko Nishida, Charizard first appeared in the video games ''Pokémon Red'' and ''Blue'' ( ''Pokémon Red'' and ''Green'' in Japan) and subsequent sequels. The first generation (Generation I) of the ''Pokémon'' franchise features the original 151 fictional species of creatures introduced to the core video game series in the 1996 Game Boy games ''Pokémon Red'' and ''Blue''. ''Pokémon Origins'', known in Japan as , is a Japanese anime television mini series based on Nintendo's '' Pokémon'' franchise which follows the plot of ''Pokemon Red'' and ''Blue''. Like the television series, it was not owned by Media Factory (brand company of Kadokawa Corporation). Animation is handled by Production I.G, Xebec, and OLM, Inc., and the film is split into four parts, each directed by a different director from these studios. It was broadcast on TV Tokyo on October 2, 2013, ten days before the release of the ''X'' and ''Y'' video games, and began streaming internationally on Nintendo's Pokémon TV service from November 15, 2013 to December 2, 2013. Pokémon Adventures
is a Japanese manga series based on the ''Pokémon'' media franchise created by video game designer Satoshi Tajiri and managed by The Pokémon Company. The ''Pokémon'' franchise revolves around 1008 fictional species of collectible monsters, each having unique designs, skills, and powers. Conceived by Satoshi Tajiri in early 1989, Pokémon are fictional creatures that inhabit the fictional Pokémon World. The designs for the multitude of species can draw inspiration from anything such as animals, plants, and mythological creatures.
