Charghare
Charghare is a village situated in the Nuwakot, Nepal. It is also a village development committee (VDC), and is surrounded by Bidur Nagarpaalika KalyanPur VDC, Gorysang VDC Khadkabhanjyang VDC. Charghare's main tourist places are Jalpadevi Temple and sloping land (पाखा). It covers an area of approximately 4 or 5 km2. Around 90 houses are found here. The population of this village is about 470. Charghare VDC consists of Chainpur Village, Munthala, mulabari, Panthagaun, Gauribeshi, Bhaduwar. Houses are of traditional type but new houses are constructed in a modern style. Most people are engaged in agriculture and trade. Vamshidhar Pande ( ne, वंशीधर पाँडे) known by Alias Kalu Pande ( ne, कालु पाँडे) was a Nepalese politician and military general who was appointed as Kaji of The Gorkha Kingdom. He was born in 1713 A.D. in Gorkha. He was the commander of the Gorkhali forces during the Unification Campaign of Nepal who died in the first Battle of Kirtipur in 1757 A.D. Prithvi Narayan Shah
Maharajadhiraj Prithvi Narayan Shah (1723–1775) ( ne, श्री ५ बडामहाराजाधिराज पृथ्वीनारायण शाह देव) was the last ruler of the Gorkha Kingdom and first monarch of the Kingdom of Nepal (also called ''Kingdom of Gorkha''). Prithvi Narayan Shah started the unification of Nepal. Bidur Nagarpaalika
Bidur is the capital of Nuwakot District in Bagmati Province, Nepal. At the time of the 1991 Nepal census it had a population of 18694 and had 3736 houses in it. In February 2008 terrorists damaged the town's water supply plant.
